- Place a text box or table on your page.
Click inside the text box or table cell as if to type a letter and hit Ctrl+T to bring up the HTML insertion window.
Paste the following code into the HTML window:

FavIcons (aka Favorites Icons)
Description: A 16 x 16 or 32 x 32 pixel icon in .ico format. It appears in the browser address bar, preceding your web site's URL, and in the Favorite's Folder or bookmarks list after the page has been bookmarked.

How do I load it?
1. Once created, download the zip file.
2. Unzip the folder and you'll find everything you need.
3. Upload the favicon.ico file to your server's root directory.
4. Insert this line of code between the <Head> </Head> tags on your home or index.html page:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/vnd.microsoft.icon">
5. If you wish to use an animated icon too, upload the animated_favicon1.gif as above and add this line of code beneath the first one.
<link rel="icon" href="animated_favicon1.gif" type="image/gif">
Tip: To see your icon in the favorites folder, bookmark a page. Close your browser and re-open it. If using IE6, you may need to close and re-open your browser 2 or 3 times.
If you haven't already bookmarked your page, it usually comes up right away. If you have previously bookmarked your page, try clearing out the old bookmark and giving it a go again.
